Everything becomes a news if you are a celebrity so Kim Kardashian sunglasses got stolen in Heathrow airport which caused problems for British Airways after accusing baggage handlers of stealing vintage shades from her suitcase. Kim Kardashian claims British Airways opened up her suitcase and took a pair of sunglasses given to her by her late father. She announced the theft to her 15 million fans on Twitter in another blow to the standing of the beleaguered airport. Staff at the airport have long been accused of rifling through passengers’ luggage, earning it the nickname “Thiefrow” in the 1980s. After an undercover police operation using hidden cameras, as many as half of British Airways’ baggage handlers were arrested. In the latest case Kim claims her bags were targeted when she was in Terminal 5 briefly last week on a journey from Cannes to Los Angeles. She wrote on Twitter: “Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage and taking some special items of mine! Some things are sentimental an not replaceable.

  1. Approximately 20.5 million Americans (17.2%) over age 40 have a cataract in at least one eye, and rates are expected to rise to over 30 million by 2020. Wearing sunglass, especially early in life, may reduce the risk of cataracts.

  2. The more modern reflective coatings on Mirror Sunglasses usually have several layers making them more durable and less likely to become scratched. While these sunglasses may be more expensive, you often get what you pay for when purchasing sunglasses.
