Click a Smile" is  a celebrated annual online photography contest of The Akshaya Patra Foundation, an NGO, which brings smile on the faces of 1.8 children everyday by serving tasty and nutritious mid-day meals in 13 states and 1 union territory of India. It sees entries every year from over 75 countries .

 Contest closes on December 31st 2021.  The contest is open to all, regardless of age and nationality. Participants must complete the registration process as per the terms and conditions mentioned here under: Entries and photographs submitted during previous competition should not be resubmitted. 5. Participants can submit a maximum of three photographs clicked by themselves. 

Photographs should be original and not repurposed or used from previous years’ competitions. Photographs should be digital (JPEG format) and capable of being transferred to a computer. Akshaya Patra will not be responsible for any compatibility issues that may arise. The file size must not exceed 4 MB, with a minimum resolution of 800 pixels. 9. Akshaya Patra shall not be liable for any error in uploading the photographs for the contest. Any direct or indirect expenses incurred by the participant while participating in the contest shall be borne solely by the participant and Akshaya Patra shall not be responsible for the same. 

 All the photographs will be judged on the basis of content, composition, sensitivity, creativity and style.  Both colour as well as black-and-white photographs will be accepted in the contest. Objects should not be added to or removed from the frame in order to enhance the shot.  Participants will not be allowed to see other competing entries. The photograph must not be manipulated. Multiple exposures, composite images, sandwich shots and photographs which consist in any way of more than one separate image or which have been manipulated, are not eligible.
