As per recent reports, the sensitive information of over 3.5 million Mobikwik users has been leaked on the dark web. It is being called the “largest KYC data leak in history” so its better to delete your account permanently from Mobikwik to avoid scams from scamsters going forward

How to Delete Your Mobikwik Account Method 1

• Open the Mobikwik app (Android, iOS) or website on your device. Go to the “Help” section.  click on the “My Account & KYC” option. , click on “Account Deactivation” from the given options.
• Write a short and simple message, requesting the support team to deactivate your Mobikwik account.  you need to wait for the support team to get back to you with the confirmation.
• Following the confirmation, your account will be deleted permanently. The company will transfer your remaining balance (if you have any) to your source account in a few days after deactivation.

Method 2

• Open your email through which you registered on Mobikwik. Compose a message stating that you want to delete your Mobikwik account.
• Send the email to support@mobikwik.com. Wait for them to get back to you with the confirmation.

After  confirmation, your account on Mobikwik will be deleted.ermore, you can also tell the support team to delete all your data from the platform to be safe from any future data leaks. MobiKwik account won’t be deactivated in an instant. If you've stored any payment cards with your MobiKwik account, you need to delete those as well. So, make sure to go through the following steps.

• Launch the MobiKwik app on your device.  Make sure that you’re logged in to your MobiKwik account. 
• Then, click on the 'User' icon in the upper-right corner of the app’s interface. 
• Navigate to 'My Wallet,' and select 'Saved Cards.'Alternatively, you can tap on 'Accounts' to review your cards.
• Lastly, select 'Remove' for the card(s) you wish to remove. Confirm your decision.
