Participants will be required to scan the QR codes which will be published on television and other media outlets during the Content Period. Once the Participant scans a QR code, they will be redirected to the Nick Bittu Bahanebaaz contest page hosted on the Jiostar website In the Form, the Participant will be required to (i) provide details such as Participant’s name, age, number, email ID, gender, school name, and (ii) Read and click on the check-box provided in the Form including all the consents and thereafter click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button or such other button/option provided therein Form will be submitted to the Organizer’s backend. Participants have to correctly answer 3 multiple choice questions pertaining to chess puzzles Participant(s) with the correct answers will be selected as the winner(s) as per the sole discretion of the Organizer. Before the Participants can submit the Contest Entry, they will be required to provide all such details and consents (of their parents/guardians) as required by the Organizer. A Contest Entry will be considered as valid only if it has been submitted as per the instructions, technical specifications and format provided in this clause 6.
Contest is organized by Jiostar India Private Limitedand is open to all individual participant who, as on October 19, 2025: (i) are between the ages of 4 to 14 years, (ii) have a valid proof of Indian citizenship, (iii) be permanent residents of India,not currently or permanently residing in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim;be viewers of the television channels “Nick”, “Nick HD”, “Nick HD+”, and “Sonic”
Selection of a Shortlisted Participant:
The Organizer shall evaluate and shortlist the complete Contest Entry which are, in the sole opinion and discretion of the Organizer are deemed to be the best and correct Contest Entry. Such Contest Entry shall be referred to as Shortlisted Contest Entry. The Participants who have submitted these Shortlisted Contest Entry may be selected for verification as Shortlisted Participants The Organizer may reach out to such Shortlisted Participants for further verification of documents. It is hereby clarified that Organizer shall exercise complete discretion and judgement on choosing the number of Shortlisted Participants. 13. It is hereby clarified that in the event the Organizer is of the opinion that none of the Contest Entry is eligible to be selected, then the Organizer may exercise its discretion to not select any Participant as a Shortlisted Participant. The Page 3 of 6 decision of the Organizer shall be final on this regard and no questions or communications shall be entertained in this regard.
The Organizer may reach out to such Shortlisted Participants for verification and further verification of documents at any time after the Contest Period. Participants hereby acknowledge and agree that the decision of the Organizers in this regard particularly with respect to the timelines for conducting the verification and document verification shall be final and binding and no questions shall be raised in this regard.
As gratification for this Contest, each Winner will receive gift vouchers worth approximately between INR 5000/- to INR 15,000 on such timelines as determined by Organizer at its sole discretion. 24. The Organizer may at its discretion publicly announce the name of the Winner(s) on the Social Media Page(s) during the Contest Period, or on such date as determined by the Organizer at its sole discretion. 25. Participants hereby acknowledge and agree that the decision of the Organizer in this regard particularly with respect to timelines for selecting and declaring the Winners and the manner of announcing the Winners shall be final and binding and no questions shall be raised in this regard. 26. Any statutory taxes, duties or levies as may be applicable from time-to-time, arising out of the Gratification, shall be borne and paid by the Organizer. In case the Winner fails to comply with the applicable laws or pay the requisite taxes, duties or levies, if any, the Winner shall indemnify the Organizer of any losses, claims, expenses, costs and actions for the same. 27. The Gratification shall not be negotiable and/or redeemable for cash. No request shall be entertained by the Organizer in this behalf.
All costs and expenses shall be solely borne by the Winner, and no monies will be reimbursed by the Organizer. Organizer takes no responsibility, liability to reimburse or compensate in any manner, towards the Winner’s expenses including without limitation any expenses incurred towards travel, lodging, boarding, food, beverages and/or any other cost that may be incurred by the Winner to avail the Gratification, in any, or to utilize the Gratification. The Organizer shall not be responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any incident, accident that may occur during the course of the Winner’s participation and/or otherwise in relation to the Contest or during the collection of the Gratification. 29. Mere participation in the Contest and making the Contest Entry does not entitle the Participants to win the Contest or the Gratification. The selection process may vary and shall be as per the Organizer’s sole discretion. The Participants/ Winner/Shortlisted Participant and/or any third party shall have no right to question the process of selection. The Organizer may determine the correctness, quality, creativity and validity of the Contest Entry and Organizer’s assessment in this regard shall be final.
