Contest ends: 23.4.26 Eligible participants may participate by registering on the official contest microsite, providing the required details during registration, and playing the digital augmented reality (“AR”) football game in accordance with the instructions, gameplay mechanics and rules displayed on the microsite. Participation is valid only upon successful completion of the registration process and gameplay as per the microsite instructions. The contest is a game of skill in which success depends predominantly on the participant’s gameplay performance including accuracy, timing and speed. No element of chance or random selection is involved in determining scores, leaderboard rankings or winners.
The contest shall be open for participation from 20th March 2026 to 23rd April 2026 (inclusive) Lenovo reserves the right to amend, extend or curtail the Contest Period at its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law. 5. Nature of Contest & Judging Criteria Participant rankings and winner selection shall be determined on the basis of objective, pre-defined scoring criteria linked to gameplay performance, as disclosed on the microsite. No element of chance is involved in determining leaderboard rankings or winners. Lenovo’s decisions in relation to evaluation, scoring, leaderboard rankings and winner selection shall be final and binding. 6. Scoring, Multipliers & Leaderboards a) Scoring Logic: Scores shall be awarded strictly in accordance with the objective scoring logic, performance parameters and gameplay mechanics displayed on the microsite. Scores shall be generated automatically by the system based on measurable in-game actions, including but not limited to goals scored, accuracy, speed, completion time and other performance based metrics. b) Multipliers: Score multipliers, if any, may be applied based on predefined gameplay parameters, campaign mechanics and/or Lenovo device ownership validation. Application of any multiplier shall be subject to successful verification, including device serial number validation, and may be withdrawn or reversed if verification fails. Tie Breaker: In the event of a tie in final scores, ranking shall be determined based on cumulative gameplay completion time, with lower completion time ranking higher. If a tie persists, Lenovo reserves the right to apply additional objective tie breaking criteria as disclosed on the microsite
Leaderboards shall be generated based on validated cumulative scores and may be updated in real time or at periodic intervals, as determined by Lenovo. Provisional leaderboard positions are indicative only and subject to verification and audit prior to finalisation. e) Score Validation & Adjustment: Lenovo reserve the right to review, validate, correct, adjust or invalidate any score or leaderboard position in case of technical errors, system failures, latency issues, data sync issues, suspected manipulation, breach of these Terms & Conditions or violation of fair play principles. f) Finality: Lenovo’s decisions in relation to scoring logic, application of multipliers, leaderboard positioning and final rankings shall be final and binding on all participants. Prizes a) Prize Allocation: Prizes shall be awarded strictly subject to eligibility, verification and compliance with these Terms & Conditions. The Top 10 participants on the respective Lenovo and non Lenovo leaderboards shall be eligible to win FIFA World Cup tickets and trip (final details to be communicated on the microsite). If any selected winner is disqualified, the next highest-ranking participant on the applicable leaderboard shall be selected. Winners shall be classified as follows: eight (8) prizes reserved for Lenovo device owners; and two (2) prizes reserved for non Lenovo device owners. Each participant may win a maximum of one (1) Grand Prize and one (1) Weekly Prize during the Contest Period. b) Prize details, inclusions, exclusions, applicable taxes, and fulfilment mechanics shall be communicated on the microsite. Taxes, if any, shall be borne by the winner unless stated otherwise. Tax Obligations: All prizes shall be subject to applicable taxes under Indian law, including but not limited to tax deducted at source (“TDS”) under Section 194B, Section 194BA, or other applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Lenovo or the Administrator shall deduct TDS at the applicable rate (currently 30%, or such other rate as may be prescribed) from the value of the prize prior to disbursement or fulfilment, where required by law. In case the prize is issued in kind, the applicable TDS will be collected from the winners before disbursement or fulfilment. Winners shall be solely responsible for: (i) providing a valid Permanent Account Number (“PAN”) and such other documents as may be required for tax compliance; failure to provide PAN may result in TDS at a higher rate as per Section 206AA; (ii) paying any additional taxes, including income tax liability exceeding TDS, arising from the receipt of the prize; (iii) filing appropriate tax returns and complying with all applicable tax laws. d) Lenovo shall provide winners with a TDS certificate (Form 16A or equivalent) for taxes deducted, upon request. The prize value for tax purposes shall be determined by Lenovo in its sole discretion based on fair market value. Travel Prize Inclusions: Where travel based prizes are offered, inclusions may be limited to economy class airfare, event tickets, visa facilitation support (if applicable), accommodation and ground transfers, as expressly communicated by Lenovo. All inclusions are subject to availability, third party terms, governmental approvals and travel regulations. Exclusions & Winner Responsibility: Any costs not expressly included, including but not limited to travel or health insurance, passport procurement, medical tests, vaccinations, personal expenses, meals not specified, incidental costs, additional baggage, penalties, taxes, duties or upgrades shall be borne solely by the winner. Winners are solely responsible for ensuring possession of valid travel documents, compliance with immigration, customs, health, safety and local laws, and adherence to airline, venue and governmental requirements.
No Liability for Travel Related Issues: Lenovo, the Administrator and their agencies shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, delay, cancellation, rescheduling, denial of boarding, visa refusal, missed flights, illness, injury, accident, quarantine, force majeure events, acts of government authorities, airline decisions, third party failures or any other circumstances beyond their reasonable control. Failure by a winner to travel on the scheduled date or comply with requirements shall result in forfeiture of the prize, without entitlement to extension, substitution or compensation. Conduct & Compliance: Winners must comply with all applicable laws, codes of conduct, safety instructions and event or travel guidelines. Lenovo reserves the right to withdraw or cancel a prize if a winner engages in unlawful, unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate conduct, or brings Lenovo into disrepute. i) Indemnity & Release: By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lenovo, the Administrator, their group companies, affiliates, officers, employees and agencies from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses arising out of or related to the winner's own breach of these Terms & Conditions, misconduct, negligence, violation of applicable laws, or misrepresentation. j) No Substitution / Transfer: Prizes are non transferable, non exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash or any other benefit. Lenovo reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equivalent value, if required due to circumstances beyond its control.
Winners shall be announced and prizes fulfilled in accordance with the timelines communicated on the microsite, subject to successful verification.
a) Grand Prize Winners: Grand Prize winners shall be announced on Lenovo India's official Instagram handle on or before 31st May2026, in accordance with the disclosed parameters.
b) Weekly Winners: Weekly winners shall be announced every Thursday after the commencement of the contest until the contest end date, on Lenovo India's official Instagram page, in accordance with the disclosed parameters.
c) Verification Requirements: All winner announcements are subject to:
a. Successful identity and eligibility verification;
b. Submission of required declarations and documents;
c. Completion of Lenovo's due diligence and verification checks.
Lenovo reserves the right to withhold or cancel prizes in case of any discrepancy or non-compliance.
